  17. Dear MacApp Development People,
  18.  
  19.     We are developing applications using MacApp and are having a problem with
  20. the naming conventions of the compiled code folders .Non-Debug Files and .Debug
  21. Files.  The problem is we have a Macintosh IIci network file server that
  22. crashes if any file or folder name on it begins with a . (dot).  We first had
  23. the problem using Aztec C's .profile files.  Apple acknowledged this as a
  24. problem with all Mac II's and told us not to name any files with a .  We must
  25. now be careful to rename our MacApp folders before backing up to the file
  26. server.  Has anyone ever mentioned this before?
  27.     We would like to suggest that future releases of MacApp change this folder
  28. naming convention to begin with a different character like ! or * or maybe just
  29. plain Debug or Non-Debug.
